Sustainable Coaching and Sustainable Coatings

Article by Dr E. Ramanathan

When we talk about quality of a product or a service from client’s perspective, we bluntly believe branded products or services, fake advertisments in social media, TV shows, newspapers, movies, magazines, etc. We assume falsely that anything Global is great in quality. We just think big about big advertisements and infrastructures and simply ignore the local products and service providers though they are reliable and are readily available for after-sales service. You may argue that once we depended on the locals only, but had a bitter experience with their poor quality and service. However, we catch hold of those local guys if anything went wrong with their product or service or at least we can monitor closely their process and demand on better quality for the given price. We can even think of employing a local testing authority or quality agency to monitor the quality of the product or service. The poor local guys cannot dictate the marketing with poor quality of product or service for a long time. But, we cannot expect such immediate corrections or rectifications from the branded product manufacturers or global service providers. When we register a compliant with big companies, we will be simply chatting or talking with a bot or we will get autoresponses from the noreply emails.

Vocal for Local by our PM

“Vocal for Local” is the slogan raised by our Bharath Prime Minister Modiji. Yes, that is true, because, we can provide opportunity to our local service providers and product manufacturers and strengthen our National Economy to the next level. But, there is a need for a reliable Testing Authoriy also to create a trust on the quality of products and services provided by the local operators and establish a good economic cycle among the local suppliers, customers and clients.

Sanathana Dharma and Objectives of Human Life

Our Great Sanathana Dharma insists on four objectives of human life, viz., Dharma (Good Conduct or Career), Artha (Wealth or assets), Kama (pleasure or lifestyle) and Moksha (Sustainability). We should train our younger generation to pursue a good career (Dharma) to earn a enough wealth (artha) and enjoy (kama or pleasure) the lifestyle with the assets we have earned but, without affecting the society (sustainability) and our forthcoming generations.

Sustainability, The Key Factor for a Successful Business

Sustainability refers to the practice of meeting present needs without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs. It involves balancing economic, social, and environmental considerations to create a stable and enduring system. Key aspects of sustainability include the following:

  1. Environmental Responsibility: Minimizing the impact on ecosystems, conserving biodiversity, and promoting practices that protect natural resources.
  2. Social Equity: Ensuring fair and just treatment of all individuals and communities, addressing social issues such as poverty, inequality, and access to basic needs like education and healthcare.
  3. Economic Viability: Developing economic systems that are resilient, inclusive, and capable of providing long-term prosperity without depleting resources or causing harm to the environment.
  4. Resource Efficiency: Using resources efficiently and minimizing waste through practices like recycling, upcycling, and adopting circular economy principles.
  5. Renewable Energy: Shifting towards energy sources that are sustainable and have a lower environmental impact, such as solar, wind, and hydroelectric power. There is now a solar water heater hawaii solar homes can have.
  6. Ethical Sourcing: Choosing sources for materials and products that adhere to fair labor practices, environmental standards, and social responsibility.
  7. Climate Action: Mitigating and adapting to climate change through measures like reducing greenhouse gas emissions, promoting carbon-neutral practices, and investing in climate-resilient infrastructure.

The sustainability aims to create a harmonious balance between environmental health, social equity, and economic prosperity for the well-being of current and future generations.

Sustainability Ambassadors

With my vast experience in the fields of Education and Surface Coating Technology I would like to encourage parents in the field of Sustainable Education and Engineers and Chemists in the field of Surface Coating Technology.

Sustainable Coaching

I have designed a one year course in Sustainable Education with case-study and a project with an award of Diploma in Sustainable Education to the successful parents who completed the course. They will be supported as Freelance Sustainable Education Ambassadors after completing the course. We will help our ambassadors to form a Sustainable Education Monitoring Committee to mentor maximum 25 children locality wise to organise mentoring, tutoring, doubtclinics, supporing parents in selecting school and college admissions and building up study spaces. Both online and direct classes are organised by Saitech Informatics.

Sustainable Coatings

I am also encouraging young entreprenuers, engineers and chemists to undergo a one year Diploma course in Paint Technology. They will be trained in the metal finishing, paint chemistry, testing procedures and metal pretreatments. Both online and direct classes are organised by Saitech Informatics. Students will be provided projects in different fields of coatings. Once they finish the course successfully, they can take up freelance Surface Coating Testing auditors and can guide the customers in selecting appropriate coatings and also in trouble shooting in metal finishing.
