How to arrest water leakage on the terrace of 20 years old building.
- Total surface area of the terrace is 4800 sq.ft.
- We removed 1200 sq.ft area to the concrete level.
- Removed all concealed water pipe lines and fixed on the parapet wall.
- Treated the old concrete surface with water repellant chemical with two coats.
- Filled and levelled the surface with a mixture of cement, gravels and m-sand.
- Fixed sun cool tiles using the mixture of cement, sand and water.
- Provided 8 mm spacing for grouting.
- Cleaned parapet wall and finished with white cement.
- Materials used: Lune sun cool tiles, ultra tech cement, m-sand, Apcotex C7610 (styrene acrylic latex), grouting grits, Birla white cement.
