திருப்புகழ் பாடல்களை முதன்முதலில் தொகுத்து பதிப்பித்தவர் ஸ்ரீ வ.த. சுப்பிரமணிய பிள்ளை (Sri V.T. Subramania Pillai).

அவரின் பங்களிப்பு:

• 19ம் நூற்றாண்டின் இறுதியில், திருப்புகழ் பாடல்கள் பல இடங்களில் கை எழுத்துப் பிரதி மற்றும் முற்றிலும் மறைந்து போன நிலையிலிருந்தன.
• திருப்புகழ் பாடல்களின் பெரும்பாலானவை அருணகிரிநாதரால் பல திருத்தலங்களில் பாடப்பட்டு பரவலாக இருந்தாலும், அவை தொகுக்கப்படவில்லை.
