The pigment–binder ratio is usually expressed in two main ways:

Formula: P/B = W_p / W_b

Paint / Batch: —

P/B (weight ratio): —

As ratio to 1 (binder): —

Pigment wt% in (pigment+binder): —

Note: This calculator uses the simple weight ratio. For film properties use PVC (volume-based).

Enter pigment weight and binder solids weight in the same unit (choose unit from the dropdown).
