Dear Client,

Please follow these steps carefully for validation, modification, and standardization of your paint formulation before final SOP approval.

1. Validation of Existing Formula

  • Send your current formulation in Excel or CSV format.
  • Include:
    • Raw material list
    • Individual cost per kg
    • Specific Gravity (SG) of the paint
    • Description of current coating defects observed
  • Use the SaitechAI Interactive Formulation Calculator to verify data consistency.
  • After filling, export the .csv file and send it to Dr. E. Ramanathan (WhatsApp 9444929263).

2. General Report

  • A detailed technical report will be prepared covering:
    • Current issues in your formulation
    • Cost structure and performance gaps
    • Recommended modifications and new ingredient ratios

3. Lab Trial and Standardization

  • Conduct lab trials using the modified formula provided.
  • Evaluate film quality, stability, gloss, adhesion, and cost efficiency.
  • Once satisfactory, the formulation is considered standardized.

4. SOP (Standard Operating Procedure)

  • Submit your finalized lab-approved formula as an Excel sheet.
  • A complete SOP document will be prepared and returned to you, detailing:
    • Material sequence & mixing parameters
    • Process timings, safety, and QC checkpoints
    • Packaging & storage guidelines
