Here are some simple home remedies to reduce burning sensation in the feet:

Daily Care

  • Cold water soak: Soak your feet in cool (not ice-cold) water for 10–15 minutes.
  • Clean & dry: Wash feet daily and dry thoroughly, especially between toes.
  • Ventilation: Wear open sandals/slippers; avoid tight shoes and synthetic socks.
  • Cotton socks: Use only cotton socks and change daily.

Natural Relief Methods

  • Aloe vera gel: Provides cooling and soothing effect.
  • Coconut oil: Applying at night may calm nerve irritation.
  • Turmeric paste: Works as a natural antiseptic and reduces inflammation.

Diet & Health

  • Vitamin B12 and B-complex rich foods: Milk, eggs, fish, green leafy vegetables.
  • Control blood sugar: Very important if you have diabetes.
  • Stay hydrated: Drink enough water; dehydration worsens burning.

When to See a Doctor

  • Burning increases daily or becomes severe.
  • Numbness, tingling, needle-like pain along with burning.
  • Wounds or ulcers that don’t heal properly.
