1. Purpose
This interactive calculator helps you estimate:
- Total Cost (₹)
- Weight % of each ingredient
- Volume (L)
- Cost per kg and Cost per litre
based on your input quantities, prices, and specific gravity (SG).
2. Input Fields
| Field | What to Enter | Notes |

| Raw Material | Type the name of the ingredient | e.g., Titanium Dioxide, Acrylic Binder |
| Purpose | Describe the role | e.g., Opacity, Binder, Rheology |
| Quantity (kg) | Enter the weight in kilograms | Enter numeric values only |
| Price / kg (₹) | Enter the cost per kilogram | Use current purchase price without GST |
| SG (Specific Gravity) | Enter or adjust from default (1.35) | Typical range: 1.3 – 1.5 |
3. Automatic Calculations

| Cost (₹) | Auto-calculated as: Qty × Price/kg |
| Total Quantity (kg) | Sums all ingredient weights |
| Total Cost (₹) | Adds all ingredient costs |
| Volume (L) | Total Quantity ÷ SG |
| Cost/kg (₹/kg) | Total Cost ÷ Total Quantity |
| Cost/L (₹/L) | Total Cost ÷ Volume |

5. Notes
- Only Quantity and Price/kg need manual entry.
- Weight %, Cost, and Totals compute instantly.
- Change SG to match your actual batch density.
- For costing precision, update prices periodically.
