We wish all our great teachers on 5th September 2020 and the whole nation salute the teachers who are the path finders of our nation. They lay a Royal Road to a bright future of the citizen of every nation. The teaching community develope the skill set, efficiency, reliability and responsibility among people from the childhood. They are the real heros of many young minds. Many children listen to their teachers’s words though sometimes they ignore the adivise of others. Teaching is not everybody’s cup of tea. One who is unable to reach the minds of young children cannot be a teacher. Every student is an asset to the world; therfore, our society is dependent of good teachers. Student and teacher are like the arms of a U-tube. Every student should imbibe the great values of teachers and should reach the level of those great souls.
Guru Dhakshinamurthy is the greatest teacher of the world. His silence itself is the greatest explanation of Great Philosophy! (மௌனம் வியாக்யானம்)
Teachers are divine incarnations. Every teacher is GOD, since the teacher is the Generator of innovations among students, Operator of their livelihood and Destroyer of evil tendencies. There is a great sloka about Guru. It reads … “Guru Brahma (Generator or Creator), Guru Vishnu (Operator), Guru devo Maheswaraha (Destroyer), Guru Sakshat Parabrahma Thasmai Sri kurve Namaha!”
One can find guidance, friendship, discipline, love, parental care from a teacher. There is a great word in Tamil, saying எழுத்தறிவித்தவன் இறைவனாகும் (He who introduced the letters is God).
Perspiration is the blood drop of a farmer; Inspiration is the brain drop of a good teacher. Gratitude is the eye drop of all students! Our teacher is a great mentor as he mends our monkey mind and ends our ignorance. If there is no teacher, all other professions would not exist. A good teacher takes a hand, opens a mind and touches the heart of every student. He teaches us giving and forgiving though are getting and forgetting manytimes.
I was inspired by the teacher of teachers, Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba, though many claims His miracles as visiting cards, for me, His words of inspirations on Indian Culture and Spirituality are real eye-opening. I understood the real meaning of Education and Parents from Him. Education is expectation. Educe means to bring out the talent and skill from one’s soul. He insisted every student to pay rent to parents.
A mother shows us the father. Fathes takes us to a good teacher. A good teacher shows the way to God, the ultimate destination.
We once again show our deep love and gratitude to all teachers and worship their lotus feet. We surrender our ignorance and arrogance. Let our soul be sanctified by thier Grace!!
