Many students are complaining nowadays about eye strain due to prolonged watching of online classes through their smartphones. Activity based learning always helps the students in enhancing their academic performance. Preparing flashcards is one of the learning activities.
Infographical Flashcards activates the right brain of a serious learner. They trigger processing a massive amount of information at a terrific speed. They develop student’s instant memory. They strengthen the connection betweeen the right and left brain of a child. The right brain processes the images and the left brain processes the words. Since a flahcard supports infographics that is, drawings with words, it quickly connects the left and right parts of the brain and activates to work simultaneously. They help in recording vital informations in the subconscious mind of young children.
On this auspicious 75th Independence Day, every Saitechie will dedicate 75 Flashcards from any 3 subjects, namely Maths, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Computer Science, Accountancy, Business Studies, Economics, History, Geography, Civics, English, Tamil and Hindi.
Who can participate in this event?
- Students currently studying at Saitechinfo can participate
- Old students of Saitechinfo can lead the team.
- Brothers and sisters of Saitechies can participate.
- Three members can form a team.
- A senior Saitechie will lead each team
How to prepare flashcards?
- Purchase a set of 200 GSM plain flashcards (available at Amazon: https://amzn.to/3A6cb3Gsdf )
- Size of each flashcard should be 3 inches x 5 inches
- Unruled on both sides
- Select any 3 Subjects
- Select any 2 topics from each subject.
- All flashcards can be preferably in landscape format.
- Use black ink for running texts and drawings.
- Colours can be given for highlighting.
- Prepare minimum12 flashcards in each topic.
- Total number of flashcards to be prepared should 75.
- Diagram on one side, lables or equations on the other side
- Infographics on one side, quiz on the other side with key in small fonts at the bottom.

- Each flashcard is awarded 10 points
- Thetop two highest scoring teams will be selected for prizes
- Participation Certificate with a branded fountain pen – should submit 75 Infographical flashcards on or before 14th August 2021.
- Best Team Gifts- First and Second prize will be awarded.
- First Prize to all members of the winning team – Smart Tablelamp for your deep learning.
- Second Prize to all members of the winning team – Saitech Polo T-shirts
- There will be two individiual highest scorer awards besides the team winners if the two top scorers do not belong to any winning team.
- The overseas students can claim amazon gift vouchers on successful completion of their flashcards. They can send their flashcards as PPT files.
NOTE: The decision of the appointed judges will be the final for the selection of the best set of flashcards.
