Selection Method
Candidates are selected only through written examination. Those who pass the written test are certified and assigned to the job through counseling.

Exam Pattern
- General Tamil/English: 100 questions, 150 marks
- General Studies: 75 questions, 112.5 marks
- Aptitude & Mental Ability: 25 questions, 37.5 marks

South Indian history-Culture and Heritage of Tamil people-India &, etc. Indian Polity Constitution of India–Preamble to the constitution- Salient features of constitution- Union, state and territory- Citizenship. Cut off Marks for passing: 164 and 163 for general category male and female candidates respectively; 152 to 162 for other categories.
